The Government of Indonesia invited Dr Iddya Karunasagar to assess the current situation concerning Aquatic Biosecurity and advise on actions needed to strengthen the implementation. The meeting was in connection with the capacity building need in the region, as one of the mandates of FAO Reference Centre.
