Dr. Iddya Karunasagar was an invited speaker at G20 Technical meeting on One Health - Opportunities and challenges held at Bangalore and organized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The meeting was participated by delegates from US, Canada, UK, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Spain and others. Dr. Iddya Karunasagar spoke on aquaculture food safety in one health context. He highlighted the importance of biotoxins in fish and fishery products and some of the recently identified zoonotic pathogens transmitted through fish and fishery products
