BEST Program: The Biotechnology Entrepreneurship Student Teams (BEST) program aims to encourage student entrepreneurship. It is open to final-year graduate, post-graduate, and doctoral biotech students. Participants will receive broad topics for innovative ideas well in advance. Each participating team will consist of three students from different colleges, presenting their initial ideas to a jury in a closed conference room. The ideas will be kept confidential. The top two teams from each zone will compete in the final round. This initiative will help student teams better understand the challenges in commercialization, regulatory, and patent processes, boosting their motivation to pursue entrepreneurial ventures in biotechnology.
