The Technology Enabling Centre had facilitated the development of technology for production of beverage from betel leaf. A technology transfer agreement was further signed between Nitte (DU) and M/S Eshanya Beverages for commercialization of this patented technology. The DST TEC supported M/S Eshanya beverages start-up by handholding the company. This technology was successful in receiving on competitive basis seed funding from MS Ramaiah Incubator.
